On 18-20 September 2019, the Radisson Blu hotel in Szczecin hosted the Polish National Congress of Accounting Chairs organised by the Institute of Accounting of the University of Szczecin. RSM Poland was represented by Sebastian GOSCHORSKI, Accounting&Payroll Partner, who attended a debate on the certification of accounting professionals.

On 16-17 May 2019, Szczecin hosted the Pomeranian Offshore Wind Conference, organised by the Business Club Szczecin Association and the Polish Wind Energy Association. The event was attended by Sebastian GOSCHORSKI, Accounting&Payroll Partner at RSM Poland.

Yesterday, Szczecin hosted a meeting of the local authorities with representatives of Scandinavian businesses from the region. It was entitled “Scandinavian Companies in Western Pomerania: a good old marriage with prospects for the future” and was organised by the SPCC and the Marshal’s Office of the West Pomerania Province, and attended by Piotr STASZKIEWICZ, our Audit Partner, and Sebastian GOSCHORSKI, our Accounting&Payroll Partner, who talked about staffing problems in the transport industry.

Today, Szczecin will host the second edition of the Business Maritime Event, being an event aimed at promoting and fostering the maritime and logistics economy of the city and its neighbouring areas along with providing insight into business growth opportunities in this region. Sebastian GOSCHORSKI, Accounting & Payroll Partner from RSM Poland is attending the event.

The winners of the Employer of the Year of West Pomerania 2018 Competition were announced during the thirteenth edition of the Grand Gala of the Employer of the Year of West Pomerania 2018 in Szczecin, which we attended as a Partner. The winners received statuettes and the Title of the Employer of the Year. The event took place on 25 May, and its attendees from RSM Poland were Bartosz MIŁASZEWSKI (Managing Partner), Sebastian GOSCHORSKI (Accounting & Payroll Partner), Piotr STASZKIEWICZ (Audit Partner), Barbara BIRYŁO (Accounting & Payroll Department Director) and Łucja PADRAK (Junior Audit Manager).

Given the fact that we commenced cooperation with the Accounting Research Club functioning at the Institute of Accounting of the Faculty of Economics and Management of the University of Szczecin, we became a sponsor of the 6th edition of the “Leaders of Accounting” national competition accompanying the 4th National Student Conference “Accounting: science, practice, didactics”, which are both going to be held on 28-30 May 2018 in Szczecin.

We were invited to join HERRING 2018, the 23rd Meeting of the Maritime Sector, which is the largest maritime event in Poland, held today in Szczecin on the grounds of the Szczecin International Fair. As every year, the event was preceded by a tournament at Binowo Golf Course, held yesterday morning and attended by our Employees, as well.

We took part in the Szczecin Entrepreneur Days, which were organized yesterday by the Northern Chamber of Commerce. The aim of the event was consultancy to SMEs. There was an abundance of trainings and individual consultations, in which we actively participated.
