Today is the closing day of the RSM World Conference, which started on 4 November 2018. This time it took place in Toronto, the capital city of the province of Ontario and the largest city in Canada by population. This city is also home to one of the network’s newest firms.
The theme of this year’s conference is “Tomorrow's RSM", and it refers to the practical, technological and emotional changes, new technologies and working methods, as well as alternative services for customers, which we as the network must introduce to achieve our vision and to enjoy a continued relevance in the business world along with the global growth. This year, the event’s agenda was structured to allow to ponder upon how to plan a flexible and bright new future for RSM and market leaders we work for, and how to use the RSM human force to drive innovation and transformation in the middle market in the light of such challenges as: global risk, trade wars and tax implications of the digital revolution.
All speeches, workshops and all speakers have been selected so as to make conference participants feel properly involved and inspired. Efforts were made to take the event to a level that will stimulate and inspire to think about ways of revolutionising and developing the company for the benefit of employees and customers alike.
This year’s conference was chaired by José Gómez-León (Partner and Management Consulting Director), known as "Pepe”. Pepe is a Partner and Management Consulting Director in Puerto Rico, who played an important role in RSM’s growth as a member of the RSM Innovation Committee.
