Second edition of RSM International Tax Conference was held on 23-25 January 2019 in Amsterdam. This time, RSM Poland was represented by our Tax Partner, Przemysław POWIERZA and Tax Manager, Maciej GÓRSKI, who took part in a numer of plenary sessions and workshops within working groups (Global Indirect Tax).
Similarly to last year, the conference attracted much attention – 118 participants from all over the world came to Amsterdam, including representatives of such distant corners as Peru, Australia or South Africa. We owe it to the event’s formula, providing substantial knowledge and constantly focusing on improving professional skills within specific areas of tax consulting (we have already eight working groups within eight specialisations).
There was some pleasant break from the busy schedule (working sessions lasted from 8:30 to 5:00 PM) in the form of a traditional dinner in one of the popular floating restaurants in the port, one that can be reached by ships crossing the channels of Amsterdam.
The conference was a great opportunity to share insights on the changing work environment of tax advisors and new possibilities springing from automation and digitisation. Our colleagues from RSM UK presented us with their cutting-edge tools.
