On 29 July 2019, the Poznań RSM Poland team had an unusual encounter: the office was visited by a ball python owned by Agnieszka, our Office Assistant.
The tête-à-tête with the reptile started off with a presentation about those exotic animals. Agnieszka told us about the origin of pythons, their dietary preferences, the shedding process and numerous reasons why people decide to adopt them as pets.
The theoretical part was followed by a practical session: anyone interested could touch the snake, hold it or even wrap it around their neck. Agnieszka was glad to see people queuing up to try. Although a bit scared at first, everyone managed to overcome their fear and got to see for themselves how pleasant snake skin might feel when touched.
Readers could rest assured that everyone went through the encounter intact and Agnieszka managed to convince all the colleagues that the ball python is not as scary as it is painted.
